Amazon books: More Bookstores in The US

While Amazon has often been accused of “killing” a good deal of American bookstores, it seems that the company wants them revived. The proof: Amazon has just confirmed the opening of a 17th bookstore in the USA.

This new opening will take place in Maryland. This will be the 17th Amazon bookstore.

These bookstores are called “Amazon Books” and begin to multiply throughout the United States.

Amazon wants to develop a strategy that comes out of the Internet by giving the opportunity to some people to buy books in a physical library.

But, more than a bookstore, it’s also a demonstration space for Amazon devices (like Kindle reading lights and Fire tablets).

This new bookstore would be the only one in Bethesda since the closing of Barnes & Noble. This new “Amazon Books” could open in a few months.
